Teams arrived to a beautiful morning at ODU for the War Memorial. Starting the morning there was nice breeze from the North East that shifted right and eventually died later in the afternoon. W4s were sailed all day. After the wind died during 5B the sailors were postponed on shore until racing was called for the day. Thank you to Dillion Paiva and Chris Behm who heard several protests after racing was done for the day. Three teams retired after racing, taking responsibility for their penalties.
Teams arrived to the ODU Sailing Center greeted by 17-20 knots of breeze. Gold Cups were sailed before breeze died to 10-15 knots and race committee set W4's. Thank you to judges Christine Accettella, Sam Ficksman, and Clark Hayes for hearing several protests at the end of the day Sunday. The top three teams battled it out for first, and Georgetown pulled ahead to win the War Memorial Trophy.
