Central Fall #2

Summary

Saturday, October 19:

Saturday began with a brief postponement due to lack of wind. The breeze filled from the Southeast at 11:30. The breeze was shifty all day and ranged from 5-12 knots. 6 races were completed in A Division, and 5 in B Division. Thanks to Boathouse Director Ben Arminger for help on and off the race course and Erica Pratt for scoring.

Sunday, October 20:

The Chester River greeted the sailors with a steady 5-12 knot breeze from the Northwest on Sunday morning. The first race began at 9:45. Racing continued without a break until 2:45.

12 races in each division were completed throughout the weekend. Several protests were filed, resulting in three Breakdowns and two DSQs.

A huge thank you is owed to Ben Arminger for his help on and off the race course, Erica Pratt for scoring, and Tom Pierson for running an understaffed regatta smoothly.

Congratulations to Monmouth and Drexel for qualifying for the War Memorial!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
