Summary

Saturday, September 29:

Today started off with light rain and north west wind at around 7 knots and built to about 12 knots as the day progressed. It eventually died off again as it shifted to the north east causing a brief wind delay with lots of rain. The wind did eventually pick back up allowing us to get a total of eight races in for A team and six for B team. The Virginia Wahoos currently hold a slight one point lead over the Old Dominion Monarchs.

Sunday, September 30:

Today was an unsteady 2-7 knots shifting back and forth between west and north several times throughout the day. The sailors enjoyed the sunnier day then yesterday along with warmer air temperatures. The competition was tough but in the end, the Virginia Wahoos won the regatta.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
