Colony Cup

Summary

Saturday, September 25:

Races were sailed on Saturday under partly cloudy skies, with a westerly breeze of 5-10mph. An increase in current made the last few races of the day interesting. In all, sixteen races were sailed, with no protests and one redress granted to CNU for an breakdown in the first race.

Sunday began with light breezes from the north, which increased to a steady 7-8mph with an occasional gust into the teens. Big shifts and flat water made for great races! One protest was heard, resulting in a DSQ for CNU.

Congrats to Hampton University for winning the 2010 Colony Cup and thanks to all of the teams for coming!!

(No.....no shows!!!)

Special thanks to the whole W&M Sailing Team for their hard work & support, and to First Colony for letting us host this event at such a wonderful venue.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
