Summary

Saturday, March 18:

Competitors arrived around noon due to lingering wintery weathers throughout the conference. A mild easterly with nodes of east-south-east loomed over the Thames River as sailors hit the water, 12:30. Breeze increased throughout the day as the wind clocked to the SE, max conditions reached 15 knots. The breeze calmed down for the final set. The last race finished around 6 pm.

7 races were sailed in each division. The Brown Bears 1 team won the Vietor Trophy with a combined score of 54 points. Nice sailing!

A big thanks to the Coast Guard Academy Bears who ran race committee amid close to freezing conditions.

No racing will be sailed on Sunday.

Forecasts call for extremely cold temperatures and blustery breeze- Gale-force according to some.
