Saturday, March 25:

Saturday's races had consistent winds were Southwesterly in the range of 10-11 kn. We sailed 6 races in each division with a lunch break in between. In race 3A, Washington College was granted a Breakdown due to a broken shackle, which was replaced on the course. There was also one OCS in race 8B, Hampton Univ. was scored as an OCS.

There was one protest heard, and ruled not valid.

Sunday, March 26:

For Sunday's races, the winds were Northeast 8 Kn steady throughout the day. We conducted 3 race for each Division and finished the program.

Congratulations to the Hampton University Pirates for winning the 2017 MAISA/SAISA regatta.

Thank you to all the members of the RC and other volunteers in running a great weekend of races in the beautiful waters of Strawberry Banks region of Hampton Roads.
