NEISA Sportboat Invite #2

Summary

Saturday, April 25:

Wind NW and SW at 5 to 20kts. 4 Races Completed. W4’s and W6’s. Average Race Duration 36 Minutes.

The northwest gradient battled a building southerly sea breeze throughout the afternoon. With some patience we managed two quality races from each unique direction. Races 2 and 3 produced the most wind and excitement with teams often battling for position at speeds approaching 15kts.

Sunday, April 26:

Wind N at 5 to 10kts. 3 Races Completed. W4’s and W6’s. Average Race Duration 40 Minutes.

Lighter winds today placed an added emphasis on seeking current relief along the New London shore. Two protests were heard resulting in a DSQ for Dalhousie in race 5.

Congrats to URI for the win and demonstrating great sportsmanship. Special recognition to our 1/C Offshore Bears for finishing strong in their last regatta. Many Thanks to all for taking extra care of the J/70 fleet throughout the weekend.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
