Owen,Mosbacher and Knapp Trophies

Summary

Saturday, April 18:

Six races were sailed in variable conditions. The seabreeze tried to fill in at least five times during the day. When it filled it was great, and when it died it was not great. Lots of waiting around for wind. The end of the day was best as the seabreeze finally stayed and built to 8-12 knots for the last three races. Justin Assad served as the ICSA rep and did a great job and also doubled as the mark boat. All course were course fours. Not protest were filed. 720's were completed and there were several general recalls.

Sunday, April 19:

After short postponement ashore, two races were completed in each division before the wind died just in time for a lunch break. W 4's were sailed in a light southerly. After lunch a freshening easterly hit the course and three more races were sailed in 8-12 knots of breeze. In the end, Yale ended up winning the owen, Mosbacher and Knapp trophies. A huge thanks go to Justin Assad for doing a great job as the Regatta Rep. The top three teams and division winners were awarded with Helly Hansen bags, belts and hats. No Protests were heard and everyone was on their way home by 4pm.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
