Saturday, April 12th marked the first day of races. Initial races, originally scheduled for 10pm, were delayed by roughly 30 minutes due to no wind on the course. Races resumed at 10:45am, with the wind coming out of the south at 6-7 knts.
By noon, winds had picked up from the south to roughly 15-16 knots. We recorded our first capsize (Iowa) at roughly 1pm, with winds gusting to 20knts.
In coordination with the Race Committee and the Regatta chair, all racing was called off at 2:45pm when gusts exceeded 28 knots.
Washington lead the day, with a total score of 8.
As usual, we would like to thank all of the staff that participated in the event!
Sunday marked the final day of the Hoosier Daddy Regatta. In order to get in as many races as possible, the start time was moved to 8am, with the first whistle blowing at 8:30am. Winds throughout the day ranged from 8-17 knots from the south.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
