Teams were greeted by cloudy skies and slight rain on Saturday at the Webb Yacht Club. A passing thunderstorm caused a half hour postponement. 10 A and 8 B races were completed in shifty breeze around 8 kts.
To make up for Saturday's stormy weather, Sunday was sunny and warm on the Long Island Sound. The wind started off light and puffy, around 3-5 knots. In the early afternoon it had settled in to a steady 8-10 before ramping up to a gusty 18 kts by the end of the day. In all, 14 A and B races were completed, burgers were eaten, and fun was had by all. Thanks go out to all the volunteers who made the event a success. -Doug Zangre '13
