Summary

Saturday, April 27:

The teams arrived to the Memorial Union on the shore of Lake Mendota on Saturday morning to a lake full of glass with a few thermals coming off of shore. The regatta went into postponement in the hopes that breeze would surely arrive. Around 12pm the race committee deemed it possible to set a course with A division goin g out and sailing their first set in very shifty breeze of around 5-10 knots coming out of the South over the city. After the initial difficulty setting a fair and square course, the wind finally settled and we were able to get 4 races in A's and B's as well as 6 races in C's. There was 1 protest and 1 breakdown filed these will be heard on Sunday. Racing will begin again on Sunday at 9:30 am. Report time is 9:00 am.

Teams arrived on Sunday morning to a lake covered in a sheet of glass. The regatta went into postponement at 9:30AM. The Race Committee waited until noon until they decided to call the regatta. The 1 protest and 2 breakdowns from the day before were also heard resulting in one DSQ and two breakdown redresses being awarded. Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
