MAISA South Spring Qualifier

Saturday, April 2:

After a great start in big seas and a steady westerly breeze of 14-18 knots, things got a little crazy during race B3 as winds quickly increased to 28 knots! Racing was abruptly abandoned and all boats were sent ashore. After regrouping, race B3 was re-sailed and B4 was completed. With a threat of storms in the area and rumbles of thunder in the skies, racing was ended for the day.

Sunday, April 3:

An additional 12 races were sailed in a steady westerly breeze of 12-14 knots, which made for some great sailing. All races were completed by 3pm.
