North Spring

Summary

Saturday, April 3:

Day 1 of the North Spring Qualifier was held on an uncharacteristically warm 80 degree Ithaca day. Strong winds built from the south, peaking at a sustained 23 at around 4:00. 10 races were completed for each division. 2 breakdowns filed, both disallowed. Day 2: The first race started with a light 4 knot North Westerly breeze and eventually built to 7 knots out of the North. Two races were sailed today, with a total of 12 races in each division. No protests were filed today.

Congratulations to the winning team Cornell, and also to Columbia and Colgate who will also qualify for America's Trophy.
