NE Match Race Championship

Summary

Saturday, October 15:

It was a light day on the water for the first day of the New England Match Race Championship. We started the day with a light northerly breeze, which soon died and brought the sailors to land for a lunch break. During the lunch break, the breeze shifted to a light southerly and sailors hit the water again around 1:30. Sailing ended at 5:30 today. Report time for tomorrow is 8:30!

Sunday, October 16:

It was a breezy and exciting day of match racing on the Narragansett Bay today. Puffs were calculated to be in the low 20's, which made for some excellent racing conditions. Congratulations to BC and Dartmouth who will be representing NEISA at Nationals in San Diego! A big thank you to Bill Canfield, our PRO, and Anderson Cushing on our race committee. Here are the final results from today!
