Four visiting schools joined Coast Guard on the Thames River for our first Wednesday Series of the fall season. Breeze was Southwest at 10 to 13 kts. with regular land influenced oscillations of about 15 degrees. Conditions remained stable for races 1 & 2. Unfortunately racing was abandoned for the day during the sequence of race 3 due to an approaching thunderstorm and lightning in the local area. W4 Racecourses. Average Race Duration 15 minutes.
The series will continue on Wednesday September 21st. at 1600.
