The weather was beautiful and spirits high as the teams set sail on Hope College's new fleet of boats. The wind was coming from the west, off of Lake Michigan, and was shifty in the morning, but picked up as the day went on, leading to some great heavy air sailing.
Hope Sailing would like to acknowledge MBYC, Abby Reeg (our faculty advisor), and all of the amazing volunteers that helped throughout the day with race committee and safety boats!
