First, huge thanks to Kelly Stannard '12 and Tyler Wilson '12 for coming back to run the first Southern Series of the Fall at RWU. 5 races in A and 4 races in B were sailed in a 13-18 knot SE breeze that built throughout the day before racing was called. Rotations were causing some boat damage due to the high winds. Hopefully they will get in a distance race tomorrow to placate Ken Legler.
A shift NW breeze ranging from 5-8 prevailed after a 30 minute on shore postponement. The current was flooding all day. Courses were W3 and W4 that lasted between 15-20 minutes. Again, thanks to Kelly and Tyler for running the event. Also, congrats to the mostly freshmen Hawks squad for taking the win while also helping to run the event. Sacred Heart University and Mitchell College both bailed on Friday.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
