After a long postponement this morning, the a northerly breeze finally filled from at about 4-5 knots. Shortly after, competitors hit the water and managed to complete six races in both A and B division, despite some grueling light air conditions. Hopefully we have some more breeze tomorrow! Unfortunately UMBC and Loyola were "no shows".
Unfortunately, after waiting around for most of the day, the breeze did not fill in as hoped, and we were not able to complete any races in either division before 3PM. The winner of this year's Riley Cup is the University of Virginia Wahoos, followed closely by Georgetown Hoyas in second, and the Navy Midshipmen in third. Congratulations to all teams!
