Lake Champlain Open

Summary

Saturday, September 18:

Saterday Beautiful day in Vermont. The sun was out with winds building throughout the day to 15 knots with 1-2 foot waves. One protest was filed in race 10A and will be heard in the morning. Forecast for tomorrow is 5 knots from the Northeast, becoming North and building to 10 knots. Special thanks to the Catamounts for helping out today.

Sunday Today started light from the Northeast before dying and becomeing North. One B race was sailed before sending the sailors in to wait. Breeze filled form the Northwest to about 5 and race 10B and 11-12A were completed. The wind then went back to the Northeast and filled in enough to complete 11-12B. The protest herd this morning resulted in a DSQ. Boston University and Maine Maritime failed to complete their RP forms resulting in a 20 point per division penalty. Special thanks to the Vermont players that helped run the event.

Congratulations to the Yale Bulldogs for the win.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
